Buildings and sensors generate data without pause. And with every reading comes a question. Whether the air in a meeting room is fine right now. Whether the ventilation kept up with yesterday’s load. Whether a spike came from outside or from within.
The answers exist in the data. Getting to them is the hard part. You log in, find the right module, pick the floor, set the dates, maybe export the data, then read it off a chart to be sure.
The number was always there. The thing standing between you and it was the interface.
We kept asking ourselves a quieter question.
What if you could just ask the building?
From dashboards to dialogue
This is what we built. Meet Aria, the AI layer for the Airvoice Indoor platform.
Aria stands for Air Research and Intelligence Assistant. The name is deliberate. In music, an aria is a single clear voice that carries the meaning of the whole performance. Airvoice has always been about giving air a voice, turning air quality into signals and insights people can act on. Aria is that voice for the building.
It is not another dashboard, and not a new feature added to the ones you already have. It is a new layer over the whole platform, and a different way to use it. You ask a question by voice or text, in any language, and you get an answer in seconds. The filters, tabs and manual report assembly happen underneath, so you do not have to.

Not a chatbot. An air quality agent.
This is the part that matters most, and the part that is easy to misread. A layer this easy to talk to could be taken for a simple chatbot. It is not.
Aria is not a general language model with sensor readings attached. It is a purpose-built agent grounded in a dedicated knowledge brain: public standards, verified thresholds, pollutant profiles, sensor logic, HVAC and ventilation concepts, regional requirements and evidence-backed interventions.
Why does that distinction matter?
Because indoor air quality data is never just numbers.
A PM2.5 spike during a regional haze event is not the same as a spike from an indoor source. High CO₂ in one meeting room after lunch is not the same as high CO₂ across an entire floor. The right answer for an office in Dubai can differ from the right answer for a school in India or a home in Europe.
Aria is built to understand these differences. Before it suggests what to do next, it can weigh building type, room type, occupancy, HVAC schedule, ventilation setup, region, season and current outdoor conditions.
That is the line between reading data and understanding context.

A facility manager can ask what needs attention before the next occupancy peak, or whether the HVAC schedule actually ran overnight.
