Indoor and Outdoor Air Quality Monitoring for Amber Enterprises India Ltd

Client: Amber Enterprises India Ltd
Location: Universal Trade Tower, Gurugram, Haryana, India
Scope: Air quality monitoring on the 4th floor and outdoor premises, December 2024 – January 2025

Project Overview

Amber Enterprises, a leading HVAC solution provider with 27 manufacturing facilities across India, partnered with Airvoice to enhance air quality monitoring at their Gurugram office. The goal was to monitor indoor and outdoor air quality, optimize HVAC operations, and raise employee awareness, supporting broader ESG commitments.

Objectives

  • Monitor key air quality parameters: CO₂, PM2.5, PM10, TVOCs, temperature, and humidity.
  • Enable data-driven HVAC control to maintain healthy indoor environments.
  • Increase employee engagement with real-time air quality information.

Solution

Airvoice installed a network of indoor monitors across the 4th floor and an outdoor monitoring system. Indoor vs. outdoor display widgets were deployed to visualize air quality data onsite, alongside 10 table tents with QR codes placed at workstations for instant IAQ access. Amber was provided full access to the Airvoice.Indoor platform, with training sessions to ensure seamless integration into operations.

Results

Overall, monitoring achieved 89.8% data completeness, with five rooms reaching 100% coverage. Air quality reports indicated that overall indoor PM2.5 remained lower than outdoor concentrations, while some rooms required attention, mainly due to elevated CO₂ and PM2.5 levels. The data indicated a need for improved ventilation during business hours. Two isolated TVOC spikes were recorded, linked to specific short-term activities. The project provided Amber with actionable insights to optimize HVAC performance and drive air quality improvements across their workspace.
