Airvoice CEO Joins the Air Quality Matters Podcast to Discuss Bridging the Knowledge Gap in Indoor Air Quality

Hyderabad, India | September 2025
At the Healthy Buildings Asia 2025 conference in Hyderabad, Airvoice Co-Founder and CEO Vitalii Matiunin joined Simon Jones, host of the Air Quality Matters podcast, for a live discussion on the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of indoor air quality in India and beyond.
The conversation brought together three industry leaders — Tervinder Singh, Director of Astberg Ventilation Pvt Ltd; Vitalii Matiunin, Co-Founder and CEO of Airvoice; and Deepak Nanaware, Head of Engineering and Marketing (Middle East & India) at AAF — to explore how ventilation, data, and filtration work together to create healthier buildings.
“We’ve seen many air quality projects rejected — not because of money, but because of a lack of understanding of what needs to be done and how to do it,” said Vitalii Matiunin. “There’s a huge difference between what people want to breathe and what their systems actually deliver. The real challenge isn’t the technology itself — it’s the knowledge gap across the industry and the lack of confidence that solutions will work. Our role at Airvoice is to guide clients through this process, turning air quality data into action.”
The discussion also emphasized the importance of visibility and education.
“Air quality must move from being invisible to visible,” Vitalii added. “Once people can see and understand the air they breathe, they’ll start demanding better quality — just as they do with water. That shift in perception is key to making good air a standard, not a luxury.”
Together with his co-speakers, Vitalii highlighted that collaboration between architects, engineers, and building operators, combined with greater public awareness, is essential for accelerating progress toward healthier, more energy-efficient indoor environments.
